Q: How is yield paid? Is it paid in XAUT, IXAUT, or another token? A: Yield is accrued inside the vault and expressed as an increase in vault share value (i.e., your IXAUT.vault shares appreciate). On withdrawal you receive IXAUT (or XAUT if you redeem immediately), reflecting earned yield. Some strategies may realize yield in other tokens which are swapped back to XAUT/IXAUT as part of the vault accounting.

Q: Are vault APYs guaranteed? A: No. APYs are variable and reflect real strategy performance, market conditions, and fees.

Q: How are strategy losses handled in the vault accounting? A: Losses reduce the vault’s total assets and therefore the price per share. Vaults follow deterministic accounting: gains and losses are reflected pro rata across all shares. Vault-specific risk buffers (insurance reserve or treasury backstop) are applied if configured and documented.
